I live in IL and hunt public land in west-central Illinois and have been buying points the last few years to be able to hunt in southern Iowa in the future. IL has essentially unlimited NR archery licenses and come the rut you can see it at public spot parking lots.

You are gonna be able to hunt on private land, but as things stand now, you won’t be able to hunt on IL DNR properties. Which sucks cause I’ve got 2nd and 4th season permits for an IL DNR site in south east IL. This state is the worst.
I have a 4th season Iowa tag this year, it’s about a 6 hour drive from where I live to where I wanna hunt. I’ll know more in about a month if I am gonna make it happen. Too much uncertainty right now to predict what May is gonna be like.
Multiple pairs of danner pronghorns have leaked like a sieve on me. They would leak so bad I’d send them back to danner to get checked and danner would send me a new pair. I did this two times and both replacement pairs leaked horribly as well. Boots were garbage but their customer service was good.
