    Really depends on how far out you're reaching. I'm using a 6mm Remington setup currently in a bolt gun. Far from ideal. I'd like to switch to an AR10 243 platform eventually, but have too much ammo to burn through on my current 6mm to make it worth while for now.

    As a newbie on this site, I don't think changing the post count limit is super helpful. I found it incredibly irritating on 24 HCF, lost out on a couple decent deals that I wanted to buy because of it. Scammers are definitely getting better every day.     Haven't built it yet, but a AR10 seems ideal to me. Running a 6mm Rem bolt gun with my thermal currently and follow up time on pigs is less than ideal to say the least.

    All depends on what you want to do with it, the absolute lightest barrels seem to be CF. For the money, I'd go fluted as that will give better heat dissipation for range days. Just my opinion, have owned several fluted barrels but only played with the CF stuff, never owned.
