Made in 1966 and chambered in 243. In good condition, bluing is all there, trigger is crisp. Couple small scratches in stock, shown in photos. The worst is on bottom right next to the floorplate. Letting this one go so I can chase another rifle. The usual dilemma...

Has anyone tested one of these yet? Other SWFA scopes seem to hold up pretty well to the drop and truck ride tests. Was wondering if this particular model has been vetted?
There's no arguing with the ammo cost and availability of a 300 Winchester being better. When I go to small town shops that one thing I take note of, is ammo availability in case of emergency. 30-06 is even more prevalent.
That being said... a 30-06 loaded with 175 grain Barnes LRX has enough...

Would love to see them leverage their MarkV 3.8 COAL ability to chamber heavy for caliber 300 and 340 WBY with a faster twist. Especially that 340. I think with a nice 260-275 grain bullet it would be a real hit. Likewise with the 375 Wby, it's just about perfect. 378 is overkill (though I love...
