    Bugle report

    They just started firing up last night here in Pine, AZ. I heard 4 bulls bugling like crazy. Went out to a meadow and a nice 5x5 and 6x6 were bugling back and forth really aggressively. It was after shooting hours and I am already tagged out but this was promising for the upcoming week's hunters.

    Best Compact Binos

    The EL 8x32 are my personal favorite high end small size binoculars. I cannot tell the difference between the 8x32 or 10x42 in low light. For a nice budget compact binocular try out the Nikon monarch 7 8x30. They are very good for the money.

    Kowa 883 Case

    Haha, yes. That is the 254mm (10") Dob telescope. It gathers much more light than the small Kowa. The only issue is everything is flipped and upside down and it is a little bit harder to find a backpack to fit it for the backcountry...lol.
