I would check out a pair of 8x32 EL's. They are perfect for what you describe as your needs. You'd be hard pressed to tell a difference from the 42 EL's optically but they are so much lighter and compact. They are also cheaper on the used market.
Any reasons you are looking at switching? Lower/higher arrow weight? Flatter trajectory? More FOC? etc? Victories TKO's are great but the outcerts and other add ons can add up. I personally like Easton Hexx. Best arrow for the money IMO and have been using them since 2014.
Swaro holds all dealers to MAP (minimum advertised price). The retailer can sell for less and still make a profit. You can shop around and see who can give you the best deal. Lots of products are like this to keep the playing field level between dealers. A dealer with lower overhead can sell...
I am sure you will be satisfied. The 8x32's EL are my favorite pair. They are the perfect size and the image is amazing, especially with the small size. The pack a bigger optics punch than most large binos.
Great choice! I have both the 8x32 and 10x42 EL and I cannot tell the difference in low light performance between the two. I have compared them back to back long after the sun set. For deep sky astronomy, the 10x42's can resolve more detail and bring in more light but for hunting, I am unable...
I prefer the focus and fine focus on the Kowa. Glass will be too close for your eye's to see unless you have super human eyes and can A/B them back and forth over and over under the same conditions and you might see slight color/contrast differences. The Swaro body is tougher but a slip on...
Swaro EL, Zeiss SF or Leica Noctivid. Your choice but the Swaro will be the best value now that the prices have been lowered. I prefer the EL's out of those choices. I have looked through the NL's side by side with the EL's and could not optically tell a difference besides FOV.
Right handed, right side. It just feels natural and usually the bow is in my left hand so it is much easier to reach down with my right hand and quickly pull the range finder to my eye.
