This guy had feedback. After looking into it more (after the fact) all of the accounts that gave him feedback were also deleted. It’s a risk associated with this type of transaction. I’ve had several transactions go the right way. I got bit this time. I’ll still do everything I can to rectify...
So far I’ve filed two reports with the local PD and the PD in the city that I sent the check to. I’m going to file a report, or at least contact the State Police in the “sellers” state. I filed a report on the IC3.org website. Might follow up with a phone call to the local FBI office near the...
I can post the information he gave me. At this point though, I'd be willing to bet that it's not "his" information, you know?
I figured that my bank would somehow be able to see where the check was cashed, and I could someone use that information to track the guy down. My bank isn't able to see...
I got scammed out of $1200 this week trying to buy a gun. Guy seemed very legitimate. Had his phone number, address (for the check obviously), talked to him, had good conversation via email the whole 9 yards. Sent the money (certified check) and never heard from the guy again. Disconnected the...
Thanks for the reply. I’ve read that mag length is an issue in FC. recoil might also be a little better with the 162. And like you said, speed kills with the monos. Maybe I’ll pick up a pack of the 162 AHs and be that guinea pig!
Did you put the AH through your Fieldcraft? I’ve been drooling over a Fieldcraft for months and think I finally got one. Was going to try the 178 AH as a deer/elk/black bear round.
That’s some bad ass shooting OP! Were you able to put them through any game last year or this winter?
Edit: just saw that you hit some coyotes with them. It’s nice to hear they expanded on ole Wiley Coyote!
Haha thanks. I sent the mod a PM. Hopefully he can help me look a little less stupid! If not, oh well I guess. My wife calls me stupid enough that I’m pretty used to it. 😉
These things are hard to come by! Been considering the 270 on GB, but man that one is steep.
Looking for a Barrett Fieldcraft in 30-06. If you have one you want to let go, or know where I can find one, let me know! I appreciate it.
Yes, I’m new here. USAF Marksman over on lrh dot com. I have eBay and gunbroker feedback as well if it’s an issue.
Thanks for the help.

Edit, somehow...
How much have you dialed that Zeiss? I’ve had them on the list before, and like the specs and the looks, but haven’t read a whole lot about the reliability when dialing.
When checking out those different elevation levels, are you looking just for the bears, or are you looking for the snow line, green up, etc? Is there anything else to look for besides the snow line, where everything is getting green, and the actual bears/bear sign? I’ll be going out for my first...
Another vote for the saywer system and have been taking two 32 ounce reservoirs on the few backpacking trips I went on last year. Seems pretty hard to beat. My kit has the syringe that I’ve used to fill the bag with when I couldn’t dip the bag.
you’re right! That sounds gross like the name implies! Haha, might have to give it a try though.
I’m feeling kind of lucky this year as a friend/hunting partner just bought a home freeze dryer. He’s been making meals daily....hoping that works out well!
As for personal experience, I took MREs...
I hope this works out for you. My dad bought a Heartland trailer about 4 years ago, brand new off the lot for about $50k. They immediately had problems with things like the awning, and some plumbing. They had the worst time dealing with warranty issues. I don’t know if it was just that specific...
From: Troy, Maine. Living in Utah now
Fun Fact: I tripped and fell on an arrow with a field point when I was 7...you know that thing your mom always told you about running with pointy objects? At least it wasn't my eye..... Went into the left side of my left knee. Didn't jack anything up. Still...
Part of my job is shipping and receiving and I've had the opportunity to work with just about every carrier out there, including the USPS. The USPS is rarely used. When we do use it, it's only because a regulation says we have to use it, not because they provide better/more secure service. I've...
