    Stable Arrow Build

A 340 cut that long with 250gr up front out of your bow is under spined in my opinion. You’re compounding the problem with a large broadhead as well. And when tuning your bow did you shim the cams or just move your rest around? If you’re not shimming the cams you’re not going to get good results

Matthew’s VXR Limb Making Noise (Called Matthews)

They’re pretty straight forward. You should have no problems.

Matthew’s VXR Limb Making Noise (Called Matthews)

If it’s lubed correctly it’ll not happen again. I’m very liberal with the application. And I always make sure every contact point gets covered. Any excess that squirts out can simply be wiped off.

Matthew’s VXR Limb Making Noise (Called Matthews)

Yes. I’ve done this to a lot of bows over the years. I prefer using string wax to lube the pockets at ALL contact points. It’s water resistant and doesn’t put off much if any odor. And it lasts a long time. Another point that may be making the creaking sound is the module. It’ll sound like it’s...

    Dudley’s new checkmate quiver

I’m not sure I’d go as far as to call it innovative. None of what’s on There is new. All of this stuff has been done before. By the looks of the mount and arrow gripper I’d say Tru Glo is making these for him. It’s a nice quiver but nothing ground breaking.

    VPA, rust?

When I shot the old G5 Carbon Steel they’d do the same. After touching them up I put string wax on all the edges. Worked pretty good. And everyone has it lying around.

    Affordable hot tent/ tipi

I bought mine several years ago. They definitely could have went down hill from that point. Shame because I like their product.

3 vs 4 Fletch - Wild Variance at 30 Yards w/ Fixed Blade Head

Have you actually tuned the bow through paper or bareshafts before going to broadheads? As much issue as you’ve had with broadheads would tell me your bow isn’t tuned. The difference in vanes would not create that much variance in a bow that has a good base tune on it. If I were you I would...

Hamskea Trinity Pro cable on a Prime Centergy

No it’ll only pass through once. On other bows with more cam clearance I pass it through twice.

Hamskea Trinity Pro cable on a Prime Centergy

On the prime you only have one option for tying the cable and that’s at the front of the cam. On the primes I will only do one wrap around the limb to keep the bulk down for cam clearance. The supplied cord is small diameter so it’ll clear the cam.

    2023 Hoyt Carbon Bows

It’s a great bow. Plus trying to tweak a carbon bow is a lot more difficult than aluminum. Makes financial sense to run the design another year.

    Affordable hot tent/ tipi

Im a little late to this thread. I would check out Luxe Hiking gear for an affordable hot tent. They over a lot of options. They’re not as light as others on the market but they’re well made. I run one of the smaller tents with a half nest for backpacking and it’s held up great even in higher...

Timing of a Limb Driven Rest

Yeah don’t do that. It may look cool but totally eliminates any fine tuning of the timing of the rest.

    Matt Rinella for president

Unfortunately most hunters, heck most people, live in a little bubble so to an extent I would agree.

    Matt Rinella for president

Honesty most people that hunt have no clue who the Bowmars are regardless if they have social media or not. Same goes for most “professional” hunters outside of a very select few. I would say habitat loss, predation, and loss of access are far more detrimental to hunting than a few knuckleheads...

Who makes a 25 grain threaded insert weight for a black eagle insert

Just go with the 30 from BE. The 5 extra grains will have no real effect on your trajectory.

    Selling my bow, value?

Yes you’re off the mark by quite a bit. Even in excellent shape your top dollar on that bow would be $250-300.

    Chinese Ebay Stabilizers

Go to Archery Talk and find a good set in their classified section that’s going to be good quality. Topoint stuff is garbage.

Bow Release Gloves for Index Release

When it’s cold I’ll wear a “muff” and throw a couple hand warmers inside. Works great and doesn’t affect grip or release hand. Here’s an example though I don’t use this particular one https://www.sitkagear.com/products/incinerator-muff/elevated-ii

How to test arrow spine limits

You can buy a field point test kit from 3 Rivers. If you’re looking to get a little more weight you could easily put another 50gr up front on that arrow. I personally wouldn’t try to add any more than that. https://www.3riversarchery.com/buy/arrows/field-points/test-kits
