What letter Mod do you have installed on your bow?
Also the wingspan method of finding draw length is ballpark at best. A better method of determining draw length starting points is to stand perpendicular to the wall in a shooting stance and touch the wall while making a fist. Then measure from...
The whole housing moves yes. Has the option of using a single pin or flip the housing for a multi pin head. Having this option gives more range hence the name it was given.
Not familiar with that model. Some others to consider are the Hoyt Kobalt. The new Mathews Image would be another. A really good used option is the Mathew’s SDX or a Hoyt Axius. My wife has owned both and they are easy drawing bows and shoot/tune great. Not to many manufacturers make women...
Comparing it to any of the other high end options like Tru Ball and even Spot Hogg it’s in the same ball park. A sight like that is an investment as it’ll easily last you a lifetime.
So the 2023 ATA show is wrapped up. What new products did you see released that caught your eye? For me it’s the following
Hamskea Arrow level. For guys setting up lots of bows you can easily preset this thing for center shot and arrow height once you establish a good base line for a particular...
It’s all one piece. This isn’t something that’s going to retrofit onto an existing SH sight. You will have to purchase a new pic base. Like I said you can use your existing sight housing and 3rd axis adapter but that’s it.
Based off of the few pics I’ve seen I would say you’re not going to be able to just get an adapter. It’s all machined into the body of the sight. You could just buy a picatiny base and use your current sight housing though.
Yes that’s the one. It’ll work with quite a few different manufacturers however depending on the release may inhibit some features such as folding them back.
I personally don’t care for the BOA straps. I know a lot of guys do but I like a leather wrist strap personally and it’s what I have on...
Used one for years before it finally gave up the ghost and of course no parts available. It’s a fine arrow saw. Better than anything out currently except for the LAS.
If you were able to take a class on tuning bows what topics would you like covered? There would only be so much you could cram into say a weekend long class so I’d love to hear everyone’s ideas on this. Also what do you think would be a fair price for a 2 day hands on class?
Same. Serving, pre made loop, rest cord, and a lighter. Wrenches also. That’s it. If I can’t fix it with those things then I’m headed to the truck for a backup bow or to find a shop with a press. And I usually map out shops ahead of time for quickest access.
My only wish on this sight is a second yardage pointer for when the multi pin housing is closed so that the bottom pin could be used as the floater. Otherwise it checks off all the boxes for me.
