Wife bought a LEM 10 tray. 150 degree temp and did both ground and strip jerky this year. Worked great. $200 from Scheels. Im guessing 5-6 lbs of strip or 10 lbs of ground is what it can fit. Rotate trays every few hours as seems center gets done a little quicker. Food for thought (pun...
If you go the boyds route I really can't stress enough to have the action bedded and everything free floated. If you don't there is a good chance you'll get barrel whip and you won't get anything to group worth a darn. It's also a fun route because the girls can "customize" the stock to their...
food for thought if you can find a cheap donor rifle you can pretty much customize a boyds stock perfectly to a womans LOP...did that with a old savage 110 long action for my wife in 243. Turned an ugly old rifle that never got shot into a beautiful rifle...had it bedded and it shoots dimes.
Raised hounds for 20 years and hunted coon and coyote constantly...times have changed and places to coonhunt the way we used to is next to impossible these days. Coyotes seems as if everyone and their 12th cousin tries to chase them. Finding places to do what I once loved is difficult.
What is everyone using for digiscoping? I can get a phone scope for my moto g power...but my complaint there is $60 for every phone adapter. I dont want to have to buy a phone adapter for $60-$100 every couple years when i switch phones..im probably bound to this though... nature of the beast...
I was always under the impression you couldn't if they had a bull in there. Is that an old rule because I have been in arguments with a few ranchers before about school land and them trying to kick me off. Is it just them blowing smoke?
Have you considered an older swarovski sts or stm 65mm? I have seen them floating around the classifieds. I am no expert but from what I have read they are still amazing glass for that $1300-$1400 range. Venture to say equal or better to the vortex. Just a thought.
Im not sure if I am hitting 230. Generally its 3 eggs scrambled in the morning with 2 scoops of whey isolate (68g) at 7:45 post workout, a protein bar with 15g protein or so at 9:30...11:30 is lunch with generally 6-8oz of chicken or beef with vegetables. Sometimes its chicken with 150g...
Really great advice everyone. I will use this to my advantage and keep on going. Target goal is about 200lbs and work back to 215 with muscle building. Ultimately I would like to be able to backpack archery elk and not feel like my body is holding me back from quality hunts.
Strength and Energy have been good. I was doing extremely well with jogging and then took a break to increase strength training. I find it hard to hit the same marks that I was prior to the cardio break. In general my appetite is steady...somedays I feel voraciously hungry, but not that...
