    Yeah probably so. Just looking may not be the problem but glass through nice ones a couple hours and you could be ruined.

    Maybe I'm spoiled but I wouldn't use diamondbacks or similar binos ever. I feel cross eyed looking through them after about a minute.

    Never been in those units but I'd bring the ranger unless you're fine hunting off the more maintained and higher trafficked roads.

    I can't say for sure about your son but I personally would not take an 11 year old backpacking in January out there. It's rough country that can be pretty cold and snowy.

    My dog got bit years ago in the back leg. Didn't have money for the antivenom but she got steroids, antibiotics and painkillers. The leg swole up and kind of leaked a bloody liquid for several days but she pulled through. The inside of her leg doesn't grow hair anymore though.
