    Probably just the stump of the Jacket or core, eldx will shed 60-80% on bone impact . I shot a deer in the neck and when I got into the chest cavity it was a mess The jacket was in the neck & core separation went wonky and sideways into the lungs it’s a eldx after all and the slide loves them...

    I shoot Norma 150 oryx In .308, but just about any brand and weight Remington, Winchester, federal, Norma , Barnes ttsx , hornday . Have proven time and again lethal on white tail and mulie A shot placement in chest or neck is the important part I bet you missed the lungs or CNS Brisket or gut shot

    That’s not the problem, most of those ranges are private or allow tactical warriors, that are blasting 30 rounds with a muzzle break next to your head Which is uncomfortable and unnerving
