Yeah I also gave up reading. I struggle with over thinking, I can tell you do too. All I can say in 95% of the time it’s wasted energy. Just get your crap together and go when you can, what happens, happens and you can’t control it most of the time. Good luck
My favorite is the 7mm Remington Magnum. My dad is a .270 guy and I wanted to be "different" from him and get a magnum rifle. It's the only magnum rifle I can shoot well without a muzzle brake so I fell in love with the cartridge. That being said it really is way over kill for deer.
I have the 10x42 UHD. So far I think they are very clear, about as clear or better than my 8x32 meostars. Also I would say they are better in low light than the meostars. Only drawback is they are pretty big, but honestly for a bino that functions as well as this that you can literally run over...
Dealing with surviving in the mountains and depending on what season you hunt, camping in bad and extreme cold is where I would start. Gotta learn to live in those conditions before learning to hunt it
Figured I would give some friendly advice since you asked for it, but sounds like you got things under control. I have the tag to the west of you, same dates and I can't hunt the last week because my wifes due so I get it. Im going early and hoping for luck. Go kill a giant.
thats a hard time of year to hunt bucks. I would go earlier or later in the season if its the 5-31st of october. Granted I don't know that particular herd but in general thats the hardest time of the year to find big bucks.
Thinking he's poking fun at the quintessential 2nd post asking for help and insisting no time to scout etc. Don't know the units at all but I'm sure the wildlife biologist can help as well as a google search for other threads discussing the unit. More than anything if you are new read about the...
They did cut like 15000 buck tags in the last 2 years. A lot more guys sitting out than usual…… I still don’t get the demand this bull hunt has to be one of the worst in the country
I got a general multi season tag. I don’t understand the demand for these tags. It’s probably the hardest hunt I’ve ever done. Like 10% success type odds………I buy one in the very off chance I see a bull while hunting deer where I hunt. Yeah
Drew rifle elk and rifle deer…… somehow. Had to swap my general deer tag for the controlled and the lady at the fish and game office could not believe her eyes.
Utah general season is an opportunity hunt in every sense of the word. Go give it a try and have fun. It’s a pretty area and there are some deer in there.
no experience with the rx3u. I can say I haven’t found much negative about the rx4. I does seem a tad sensitive to grip compared to my energy 35 but other than that it’s got a good draw cycle and crisp shot. Doesn’t hold as well as a bow with a super long riser but still holds great. It tuned...
The axius ultra would be good or the rx4 ultra. An elite energy 35 is a damn good bow if you can get one shimmed correctly.. I like the newer Mathews bows quite a bit too, like as in the last 2-4 years of models. My rx4 ultra is shooting 285 or so with a 470 grain arrow at 29 inch draw.
