.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

I just built up a rifle using one of their side charging uppers. Really like the side charge, I think especially for hunting I will prefer it.

I'll just say in BK's defense of his skepticism :) , I also read the whole thread, accepted what I was seeing as fact, loaded up some TMK's for the AR, and used it on this years hunt (against the advice of some hunting buddies). BUT have to admit, when I drew down on that first deer at 154...

I used 24 gr of CFE223 and 77gr TMK’s out of a 20 inch AR to take these 2 Louisiana whitetails. I didn’t really work up the load for accuracy (ran out of time) and didn’t chronograph it, but it shot under 1 inch so I was good with trying it. 154 and 70 yards, one down on the spot the other a...
