I use a FFP 4-32 NF, FFP, on my true long range gun. It has accounted for several elk.
I have a couple of rifles with the SHV 2.5-10 that are set up for closer to medium range stuff. Love the scope for the durability, weight, size, and cost.
Don't over think it. Plenty of good options. Grab a 20 (or 10) degree rail and a good set of rings. NF, Seekins, Warne, Hawkins....any will do just fine.
I have owned a few Seekins. IMHO, they are very good rifles at a niche price.
The PH2 is in a pretty sweet spot. A bit more than some of the stock offerings from major manufacturer's, but a good deal less than a full custom route. I wouldn't hesitate to pick up another one.
