    I will be working with Barnes 145gr LRX and Berger 168gr VLDH bullets, just because that is what I have right now. I have found that Barnes' suggested .050 off the lands generally works well. I plan to start there and see if there are any fitment or feeding issues.

    With the front that moved through, I bet is has been a bit chilly out there. I am actually surprised you have enough cell signal to post a photo, I have driven for an hour on 191 without any signal, and only Silver City NM on the radio.

    I got the best groups near the lower end of the range of powder charges. It was a few years ago when I chrono'd it, but as I recall it was a little under 3000...or maybe a little over, I can't remember now. And seating them at Barnes' recommended .050 off the lands proved to be right on the money.

    A Rem 700 in .270 Win, shooting 110gr Barnes TTSX hand loads, has been a very accurate and effective combo for me so far on mule deer. Having said that, I have a new Kimber Subalpine in .280 AI that I am really liking, and looking forward to using on my next hunt.

    The fix isn't new, I have been using it for several months. I think it was even posted about on here a time or two quite a while back. I was not aware that still having a PB account was a requirement. If you are not signed into PB, how would it know you have an account?
