Truck problems, new engine or new truck?

I Echo others. Get a 2nd opinion. I have an 05’ 5.4 3V with 275k+ miles. It is a ranch truck. It broke a chain tensioner/guide around 200k. I did the work myself to include new cam followers, vct’s, melding oil pump, tensioner actuators, chains, cam phasers, plugs, etc etc. All of the major...

    Sealing burger bags?

Tape machine for my house. It will frustrate a guy every now and then. Make sure the bags are dry and you move through the unit straight down. Any left or right movement and it will not work well. I ran out of tape one year and used zip ties and electrical tape to finish bagging approx 100...

    Wall Mounts for Euros

Homemade from piece of scrap aluminum plate. Not an elk but I would think something similar could work. Only issue might be the presented angle one desires and/or wall clearance. I have used skull hookers for elk, antelope, and deer but I have a background that makes them unobtrusive

    Review Of Cabela's 7-Gal. Mixer

2 year update. Made 50# of fresh chorizo and 25# of restructured deer jerky a couple of weeks ago. Prior to running my mixer I realized I have never inspected the gears on the head of the mixer. So I pulled it apart. No damage or excessive wear after well over 1,000# now. The original grease...

    2021 Gardens

We had them about a week ago. They wanted the zucchini. They killed the plants. Which was fine by me as I don’t like zucchini that much. I killed the beetles. Don’t use the beetle traps it attracts more of the boogers due to concentration of pheromones according to a horticulturist friend.

    2021 Gardens

As others said Compost will help. Lots of organic matter. If you use grass clippings make sure they are from an untreated lawn. Residual herbicide will bite you. Our small town has a city compost pile(s). It’s the right price as it’s ree to the public to help themselves. Maybe your community...
