    If only shooting monos, I would shoot the fastest cartridge I could shoot and manage recoil. I think any of the fast 6.5s with the Barnes 127 LRX (or other mono) is the right answer to your question. If you are going with a short barrel, 6.5 PRC or 6.5 SAUM.
