fo rme - The reason to go cheap on everything else is to be able to go spendy on: 1) good binos, 2) good scope, and 3) good light rifle, in that order. I allow myself to spend stupid $$ on binos because they are good all year for so many things in addition to hunting - hiking, scenery...- zog

Kimber barrel weight
While you're on the subject, do you have a weight on an 84M action w bolt? My Mtn Ascent 84M barreled action w/bolt and trigger comes in at 50.5 oz, or 3lb 2.5 oz. So if I took off 2 lb 2 oz for the barrel and 2 oz for the trigger that would leave only 15 oz for the action w/ bolt. -

The way I ask this question is whether I have a better chance at three GOOD face shots with 9mm than with 10mm. Three 9mm hits is better than one good 10mm hit. That's MY trade off; others will be different. If I thought I was equally good with both then carrying the 10mm would be my obvious... -

yes - good lesson - he had a long revolver and could not get to it before he was mauled. He tried to get to it during the mauling but couldn't. He also says he got her with spray and it either did nothing or made her more vicious. Be sure to check his videos - he explains this. -

Anybody have an opinion on Mark V Ultra Lightweight as compared to Christensen Mesa? -
Sold Christensen Arms MPR (Chassis & Hunting Stock w/DBM) 22" 6.5 Creedmoor.
