    Mountain truck/daily driver brakes

I work on the side for a concrete company, so I change a fair amount of brakes. The extreme duty or anything that says police package do hold up better. We notice more issues with the cheaper rotors. They seem to warp sooner/more often. On personal rigs we go mid grade pads with higher quality...

Help! I keep missing shots lately!

I went years with one shot kills. Then for a bit the first shot turned into a whiff. I was rushing. A lot of dry firing helped get it figured out. Thankfully the last couple years were back to normal. Just remember to focus and as Gordon Graham would say "slow down"

    WTB Meopta Meostar S2

Honestly for the price, it's a no brainer. I have the cabelas version and it's fantastic. Unless you find a deal used, it's tops in the price range

How bad is the glass on SWFA 3-15

I have never looked through the 3-15, but I didn't care for the 6x or 10x. I will say the 3-9 is okay though

Is a $600 backpack worth it??

I tried a KUIU a few years ago and didn't care for it. I ended up with a MR pintler and like it. The guy I hunt with picked a stone glacier over KUIU. I will say I am more value oriented, my friend wanted top of the line. Both packs do what we need them to do

I did, it sounds like that might be the reason... Are those instructions in the registrations somewhere? I didn't see them, but I'll go take a look

Thanks, I should have been more specific. I have 188k miles on my d-max and have no worries that it is even close to used up.

What's it worth? 2002 7.3 powerstroke with 3k (hit by tornado)

I wouldn't underestimate the value in the older diesel engines. Do they have 350+ hp and 800 ish tq like newer trucks? Of course not, but not 70k either. They also have simple or no emissions systems that are costly to maintain/repair. I think the extended cab will hurt the value more than...

    Camper vs Tent?

We went small travel trailer (19ft). Fridge, beds, bath tub and A/C for nap time in summer. Made it so nice with little ones. Tents are great, but if the weather turns campers are just more comfortable
