Two pieces of clothing I would never buy if it didn’t have full length side zippers, rain pants and base layers. Such a game changer when out in the field.
I bought two Yamaha Grizzlies 700 w/ EPS in 2011. Both have been 100% problem free. I would not consider myself mechanically inclined however I have been able to easily do all maintenance on both. If or when I need to buy again I wouldn’t hesitate to buy Yamaha again. I would also consider...
A couple of patches to make sure it’s free of obvious debris and oil. Then shoot it until it stops grouping well. All of the other recommended nonsense is strictly that, nonsense. I have never done anything different.
I would recommend trying a Ford F350 and see what you think. That is if you have to have a truck capable of carrying heavy payloads. This isn’t a dig/debate about brands here it’s simply the cushioning and comfort in Fords, in my opinion, is far far superior to any GM seat. We’ve owned 5...
If it’s a nice sit down dinner, we’ll start at 20% to the waiter/waitress and then their efforts will subtract or add to that amount. Beyond a sit down restaurant, I don’t and won’t tip. Starbucks, any quick/semi-quick restaurant where all that’s done is a person at the register puts in my...
If you are wanting to take an entire goat out in one trip you are either in some hell of shape or grossly underestimating it all. Maybe if it’s an early season hunt where their coat is short and thin, and you debone all of the meat out and the terrain isn’t unforgiving then maybe it’s possible...
A lot more convenient for me to sandwich the meat between the bag and frame in the load shelf than pack it down inside the bag. I have done it both ways. Prefer the load shelf. I have used Osprey, Kuiu and Mystery Ranch packs. Moving over to the EXO this year.
The majority of “hunting back packs” are NOT waterPROOF. They may have some waterRESISTANT coating applied which I feel is what the OP is questioning about. The answer is yes, that “resistant“ layer over time does begin to fade and eventually fail. It can be renewed by applying either Nikwax...
The Leki Black Series Carbon are the ones to get. DO NOT buy the Leki Black Series FX Carbon ones though. I own both and much prefer the regular Black over the FX. The FX‘s folding design with the cable that runs internally is not as strong and the pole pieces can easily separate when pulling...
I wonder if that’s even the currently released hip belt in that rifle sling pic. As you can see in this pic of the coyote colored hip belt, the shoulder strap from the suspension attaches directly into the molle webbing. No buckle at all from the shoulder suspension is seen anywhere close down...
That is the webbing from the actual “rifle sling” that’s attached to the rifle. Doesn’t have anything to do with the EXO sling carrier. I would guess it attaches to the molle just like the water bottle holder does.
I saw this rifle sling on their hip belt pouch video. Not sure if it’s “THE” rifle sling to be, a prior iteration or a random piece. But it’s something. 😂
I am selling my Sig Kilo 2400 ABS rangefinder. I am the original owner and purchased it new. It’s in great condition and has worked flawlessly since purchasing. Included is the original packaging as well as all accessories as described below. Excuse the quality of my pic through the rangefinder...
Absolutely no overnight stays in Albuquerque, EVER!!!! I plan all of my trips to avoid spending the night there. If you must, I believe there is a nicer hotel out by the airport that has a locked gate for patrons. Having said that, it's still likely not enough. Any time I stop in...
