Seems like the latest option is having kneepads or heavier fabric in the knee area. I see this would be pretty useful while glassing or while around camp, I do wonder how these "feel" while hiking/climbing?
Recently bought a tundra and I'm debating a grille guard - living in WY, chances are one of these days I'll hit a critter. Do they protect your truck/are they worth it? What are the best brands to consider? Does a well made/heavy duty one make 1/2 ton truck ride lower on the front end? I...
My general rule is that I bring a stove/freeze dried on hunts lasting 3 or more nights. I'm not really understanding the water saving justification - it's not like the water used in a Mountain House isn't being ingested?
Really like my notch as well, the two vestibles/entries are great for storing gear and seam sealing was very easy. Only thing I did not like was the 4 stakes that came with it. I upgraded to some longer stakes and added 2 stakes and 6 ft. guylines from the top of the poles. I think it added 3-4...
I would say Wyoming depending on which part (no income tax, better politics, less people, probably better hunting overall). If your sensitive to the wind, long winters, or long drives I'd go with Colorado.
Vestibule size on the Nallo 2 is fairly large (enough room for 2 packs, boots, and still room to enter/exit the tent). Probably not big enough to actually hang out in though. If the tent is going to always be used for 2 people I'd go with the 3 person model as the weight difference is pretty...
I bought the Anjan 2 and eneded up returning it for the Nallo 2. For the extra ~1.5 lbs the Nallo has a better door/vestible/door cover, more venting options, outer tent goes all the way to ground, more stakes, & stronger stake loops. Use it as a late season/bad weather tent or if I'm hunting...
Weak was a poor choice of words, disappointed would have been better. Not "entitled" to a quilt - have a top shelf 15 degree bag and would have loved to try a quilt if the price was a tad lower - maybe later. Glad to hear an American made product is doing so well.
Thanks - Actually found this calculation tool website. Looks like we'd have a 72% chance of drawing at least one tag.

How do you calculate the odds of drawing a tag among several entries? For example, if I put myself, my wife, and my daughter in separately for an antelope tag that has had 35% odds in the past:
What are the odds one of us would draw and what's the formula? Adding them up does not seem like it...
Thanks for the responses, looks like the ruffwear approach has recieved the best reviews here and elsewhere. Also like that it comes in orange as one of my dogs is mostly black/pointed ears and could possibly get mistaken for a wolf. Thanks for the offers - my 2 dogs are a border collie/aussi...
