When you’re hunting this early are you mostly thrashing? I’m headed out this year the 7-16 which is a little earlier than I’d like but it what I could make work. Any insight would be appreciated
We had good results calling at first light and evening but during the day lots of raking and thrashing. We got into the field the 9th of sept. From what I read you can never go wrong with thrashing and raking but I’m a novice to the moose world for the record

I don't own one but my next purchase will be the SG puffy. It sounds like they figured out how to make a puffy very water resistant but still packable. I like my Kifaru a lot and it's super durable but not very packable IMO
How many of you guys keep a bipod on your rifle when going in the back country? I go back and forth on not wanting the extra weight. I like to shoot of my pack but sometimes I leave it behind when going in on a stalk. I love to hear how you guys justify the weight or not
