    My son shot a cow this year with about the same as above scenario and results. 445 yards. .308 with a 178gr Hornady Precision Hunter. Broadside, rear ribs. Went 300 yards sidehill before it died. 4 of us found no blood at all.

    The foam pad is extremely comfortable. It's a little bulky to pack along, but I think I actually sleep better in that giant cot with that thick pad than I do at home. Well worth the 40ish I paid for it. The shelf I found on Kodiak's website. They call call it a gear loft...
