None. I’ll do 10lb batches. When off the dehydrator or smoker, I cool the meat and then store in a gallon ziplock in the fridge. After a few days of snacking on it, I’ll vacuum seal portions and freeze until needed.
I have no idea how to get things in Canada, but if you can order some...
Mix as in seasoning blend?
If so, I use A.C. Legg for pretty much all my seasonings. I used to try and blend my own but they never turned out to what I would consider great. AC legg has it down. Their blends are better than any I have tried and I would highly recommend them.
I’ve tried more jerky recipes than I care to admit. I finally just decided to experiment with what I and the family like, which is Asian ish and pepper. What my family loves the best is.

I apologize for not asking her age or schooling history. It was a simple guess from someone that knows absolutely nothing about her or the age in which someone can become a nurse. Didn't realize not providing that factual information was going to ruffle someone. Was just laying out my...

I'm not in the market for anything, at the moment, and this thread isn't going to push me one way or the other. And this thread is not making me feel better or worse about anything. Good try though, your little line in there was cute. Hope you get the "likes" you were after.
I honestly had no one in mind personally when I created this. Just a random thought that came about after reading a few threads.
To answer my own question, I am torn. I really, and I mean really, like the fact that any company goes the route of USA made and sourced. But I also stand behind...
Topics, political views and issues brought up on the internet and discussed like rokslide. Plus, seeing random pictures and post make him/her/they/them/it/cat seem like someone you don't want to be associated with, like a d-bag. All of that gives you a gut feeling that you trust inside.
Would you rather support Company A that is USA made and sourced which has a D-bag owner and company views that different from you or Company B that has a solid owner that you respect and company views and values that align with you (besides the next part) but their product is not USA made and...
I’m a meat in the bag person. This past season I was able to fit both rears of a spike elk in my 5900 bag. Nothing else fit in the bag; used compression straps on outside for random clothes and lid held the head. That weight sucked but only need to go .9 miles to truck.
Must have a new batch of sewers in house needing to learn on something. I remember them stating this on another item right when they moved, but can’t remember what it was. Something that most thought was pretty dumb.
I had open heart surgery 3 years ago and was determined to still hunt that year. Montana deer season was 8 weeks post op and I still had a 10 pound weight restriction and could not do anything to pop my sternum open. So, I fabbed up a bracket to mount an atv winch in the front of my bed. I...
