    Does KUIU have an Edge

    I just got the KUIU Katana pants and although comfortable the Sitka pants feel little more comfortable do to the 4-way spandex stretch. It is noticeable. I have no idea until real world testing if there is a noticeable dry time difference.

    Yeah, that's what I'm trying to figure out. It seems KUIU is only hunting company that doesn't use spandex and if it was so bad seems like all other high ends brands wouldn't use it. Every other brand uses it. It seems like it doesn't have much effect in a garment if it stays around 10% or less.

    I am interested in getting a Katabatic 22. For those that use quilts r u only using it in milder temps say above 32 or r u using it as do it all? I have no real issues with my sleeping bag but can drop 10 oz with a quilt.

    Well from a stats point the SG chilkoot is 64" wide at shoulder. The Sequoia is 66" and the puffin is 64" From a real world standpoint, the SG feels roomier than 64" as I have used 64" wide bags from both WM and FF. I would say the SG feels on same par as the WM badger at 65" wide.

    I recently had a good CS experience as well with KUIU. I bought the Northstar glomits gloves last year and noticed a seam came apart inside the glove. I process a warranty claim online and within 3 days I had an option for a brand-new pair or store credit for anything I wanted.
