    Get some gaitors that may be your issue. If your pants get wet gravity will work its magic and your socks will be like a wick and oil. Which could be what is leading you to believe your boots are leaking.

    Can you articulate the leak further? I find a surprising amount of people are suffering more from sweaty feet than water penetrating the boot. I stopped wearing Goretex partially for this reason.

    Well, I am not surprised they did not offer to replace it. There would be no point as piling is normal and the new one they sent you would do the same thing. Everyone loves the Sitka Core Lt Wt Hoody, even people who are not fans of the rest of their lineup. Rest easy and use it and abuse it.

    Piling is normal, I have it all over on my Lt Wt Core Hoody but never developed into holes even after years. I am surprised by your customer service experience. Their customer service is why I am willing to pay the higher price tag.

    If you find a US-based company you like please let me know. I try to support US made as much as possible. I also want my products to be berry compliant. I just needed these as I was making a product for a professional and I wanted my brand on there, ya know, just in case :).

    I used Wunderlabel. I have toyed around with the idea of using an ink stamp or iron-on as that would cheapen it even more. Those with a Cricut machine have some options as well.
