In Colorado as a nonresident you're in it for about $854.77. I understand thats a lot of money, but in comparison to say Montana at $1055 and you can just show up and buy a tag at Walmart, it creates a bit of traffic in our state.
I hate the idea of further limitations on hunting opportunity, but OTC anymore is a goat rope to put it nicely. the social media combined with cheap, easy tags available to the whole world have turned it into a circus. I hope we can figure something out.
A lot of folks go to the AI due to case stretching but I've never had issues with that. The touch of extra speed and just plain cool factor makes me want one though.
I plan to build a .22 creedmoor just for fun, but i'll be buried with my swift with hopes of taking it to the afterlife with me. It's my favorite cartridge by far.
meh I'm ready I guess. Didnt draw a tag and haven't got a reissue despite fighting tooth and nail, so it OTC for me, so I'm not taking it too serious. Getting too excited and serious about OTC will leave you feeling like you got kicked in the groin when you see 5 trucks at every parking spot.
