I have a marsupial no mag and a acg ravus. I like the lower profile of the marsupial but I like the extra room of the acg. I use the acg for my rf binos and the marsupial for my sig zulus.
Lost my keys for a while moose hunting this fall. Got out of the truck to take a dump and walked about 100 yards away from the truck to do my business. Mid squat I saw a decent bull heading away from me. Ran back to the truck to grab my rifle and that stuff and tell my dad. Got to the truck and...
I have the same conversion. N120 is great. Low sd very clean and good speed. I'm using 58gr and getting 2400fps. 3/4 moa. I'm using 275gr fury bullets.
First elk with the bow. 5/9/24. Couldn't get a range on him due to the fog so guessed him at 50 and hit a bit low but still in the vitals. I didn't wait very long and started following blood. He made it about 75yards and bedded down in some standing oats. He stood up when I got close and I shot...
I used it for both. Only shot one deer with it but I was happy with the results. I actually ended up using some 6.5x284 data. It was warm but not too hot. Easy bolt lift and no excessive brass stretching. It was a t3 as well.
Kudos for asking.
My first choice would be a quality knife. Mkc stoned goat or jackstone, benchmade steep country or altitude
Esee ashley game knife in s35v, are all great, lifetime hunting knives. Pair it with a worksharp guided field sharpener and he'll never be wanting a better system...
For me it has to be moose. Hoping to fill the freezer with it again this week. A close second would be pronghorn but I seem to shoot a moose about 3x as often as antelope.
I thought this rock was pretty cool. Not sure why but I brought it home to put on my weird stuff shelf. Found it on the edge of a canola field while listening to bulls bugle in the background.
I love my geovid r's. It was very important to me to have the ranging button on the left side since I'm a lefty and carry my bow in the right hand. Just personal preference for me but it makes a huge difference while ranging animals in close to minimize movement. Optically, I'm very happy with...
I bought a costco cooked pizza this year. Was 4 nights worth of food at least but I like cold pizza. Frito pie with canned Chilli is a nice treat and easy. Just have to keep the sour cream cold. I don't eat breakfast so that helps a lot. Cliff bars and Salami and cheese usually gets me through...
