    Wish that I could have all the money that I "saved" by buying the next best thing back, before I bought my first pair of Swarovski binoculars. You really do get what you pay for from alpha glass.

    Never shot an elk with a slug gun, (always stuck on a .300WinMag or a bow). When I used to hunt whitetails in western New York with a slug gun, I have never seen a deer drop so fast. I don't believe that you could throw a wet dish towel on the ground as fast as a deer falls down and I'm sure...

    After filling my cow tag last fall and we were packing her out, my buddy looked at me and said, "you know that you could have shot a calf!" We were only a mile and a half from the truck and had slept in a nice, warm bed the night before.
