Especially in heavy hunted areas sitting and glassing is very productive tactic. Sit for an hour or 2, glass hard. Eyes start dancing then get up and move. Sit down and repeat. -

I do both. If I think elk are around I'll sit tight for a couole days. Pretty impressive what you see at 2 in the afternoon. Animals usually up by 1 ish milling around in timber. Lots and lots of times they come to timber edges looking around. -

I know it doesn't look like it should work. When I first touched it in store I thought no way. Frame is to small. When the man in the store put 60 pounds in it, I was skeptical enough that I did not bother properly adjusting the pack. Beyond that I put all 60 pounds in bottom of bag instead... -

Went to the store yesterday. Bought both packs. My out of box experience with those packs are far better then out of box exeriences with any other pack I ahve tried. Do have a couple question marks about both systems. Those will be answered with time.
