    Dead predator pics

Lack of snow this year made it tough. Glad to bring this Tom home! 6.1 mile run for the dogs. Cut the track hour and a half before light so that was a long wait! Bailed out of two trees. Saw the hounds flying across a flat and they treed him the final time 500 yards later. Arrows crush cats!

    Market commentary you deem relevant

Do my best to max out a Roth IRA I started 5 years ago. Standard 401k through work started just over a year ago. Doing max 401k match to get the most of employers money I can while not cutting myself short pay period to pay period. I’ve been looking to play with a high yield savings account for...

New Tundra owners — Tow hooks?

No ford f150 has I believe since 2016? Or 2017? Yet it seems to be the most popular on here… I was in awe when I got my work 2017 first time I got stuck I thought I was crazy not being able to find a tow point.

    Sitka, Kuiu, or another brand

Sitka and Kuiu for me, do have an old Chama from FL I love, new fl stuff I’m not a fan personally. I mix Sitka and Kuiu along with outdoor research, and other great outdoor brands. Save money by buying sales and mixing in the decent outdoor brands for base layers etc.

Burden of Proof - 2nd Amendment

I agree, congressional visit to a pro 2a congress member will get this all cleaned up in a month. Bring an attorney would surely mean you’re serious aswell.

    Elk salt licks

Have no experience with elk mineral but sell a jag of cattle and sheep mineral. I’d find a local feed store or talk to a feed person. They will know common mineral deficiency’s from lack of natural minerals in soil. In MT we lack selenium so payback mineral with a + on it 12-6+ or 12-12+...

Sitka Ambient UL 60 Hoody Review

Great review as always! Intriguing piece your arrowhead review about got me to buy one and I wish I had as they were discounted and available. Might pick this up to try for spring hunts before it’s unavailable too.

    Careers

Had two family members who were air force pilots then went commercial. This is not the job you want if you want freedom. Choppers might be different if you get into the lineman/power company stuff. Guys I know who hunt/fish the most are lineman, railroaders, seasonal workers(guide/spray weeds...

Where does the dog go in your truck?

Usually when I’m driving truck he’s in the cab, in a pickup either back seat or in the bed(preferably).

    Warming up vehicles in winter

Seems like new Chrysler and Chevrolet manuals say they don’t want idle warm up they want slow easy driving and I’m sure a block heater helps. I assume this is due to low load cylinder shut offs? Week and a half ago I idled f150 (once I got it started, jumped off the Cummins and block heater in...

Snowpack not looking very good :(

Guess I think/thought it’s better to be open than 3 feet of snow constantly pawing through to find a blade of grass

Snowpack not looking very good :(

Fall precip and a green up late. How does that hurt your herd? We experienced a very similar fall it sounds most cattle still grazing pasture/stubble with some mineral and protein. I figured besides our big cold snap it has been excellent feed conditions for the deer, antelope, and elk not...

To Upgrade or not - based on Axle to Axle

Really depends on how it fits you, you have a 28” ata with dinner plate cams and relatively stiff limbs. A 33-34” bow with smaller cams would give you a similar angle possibly. You’re looking for a string angle that naturally fits your face well. ATA and brace height isn’t as important now as it...
