At age 62 my experience is any type of work gets old I think that’s why they call it work I’ve been self employed for over 20 years still gotta drag my ass out of the house every morning I’m told even gynecologist get tired of they’re work 🤷🏻♂️
I’ve got a liquid valve on my 1000 gallon propane tank that I fill my 20# tanks with then I use an adapter hose to run my buddy heater in my deer blinds 1 tank last all season where the 1# tank lasts about two and a half hours
2011 f150 5.0 140k basically zero problems fuel pump relay once gotta say not real impressed with mileage wife was driving 97 f350 7.3 powerstroke before that mileage is about the same 15mpg ish
When I was a kid we used to pack the family in the back of my dad’s 73 Chevy with a n aluminum topper I don’t remember it being uncomfortable at all just opened the windows same as the cab because of course it didn’t have AC
Maintenance on my 97 F350 powerstroke with 260k has been starter, alternator brakes and such oh and replaced the mechanical fuel pump haven’t even had to recharge AC yet so can’t think high maintenance cost of diesel really figures in 🤷🏻♂️
Oh That sucks I had that happen with the freezer in my shop several years ago tripped the breaker for fridge and freezer took me about a week to figure out why my beer wasn’t very cold freezer had elk in it some of the burger still had a little frost in it I refroze it and ate it all some of it...

My 1997 F350 has 260000ish still on original E4OD transmission engine basically untouched we take that one elk hunting every year my 2002 F350 is 235000 had to put injectors in just over 200k they say they’re 200000 mile injectors that’s a dually it works pretty hard
