My .02:
Go with leather mountain boots, you'll want the hard soles.
Think about snakebite gaiters, really more for the stupid cactus.
Take more water than you think you'll need.
Quality glass and tripod will be very handy.
Don't forget to pet a tarantula.
Short answer is knowing the draw system. The different tag types and where they are is critical. Until they changed it this year, you could get two buck tags.
I'll add that you'll want to be careful in you are bartering/selling/buying feathers (and some hides). You can run afoul of ESA and Migratory Bird Treaty Act violations, so do your research.
I generally always have a tag in MT and WY. Colorado's points made sense this year so I went ahead with it. Two years ago I had buck tags in MT, WY, ID, and SD.
SD has been hard to draw. I got lucky couple years ago and got a returned tag. I'm waiting to see what R7 in MT draws were like, and make adjustments there. WY has tags, granted fewer each year, you can get.
Despite the generally declining numbers and the added challenges of drought and disease, this was a very good year for antelope. I am an equal opportunity hunter, but a little more opportunistic in looking for a pronghorn.

I'd say the felt recoil is less. I never loose sight picture and I don't have to deal with the muzzle blast. Both make for much more effective shooting and followups. My 6.5 suppressed is essentially nothing.
It's all relative, but my 300WM suppressed is very manageable on recoil. My 6.5CM suppressed is basically recoilless. Also could look at an AR-10 in .308. It suppressed would be smooth too.
I shoot a Canon, so I'd have to look up a model number, but Tamron has some budget lenses. You'll want something like an 18-300, or a 400 if you can find it. It'll run you around $400. I'll tell you it's worth jumping up another level though for the clarity. Make sure it has image...
Game Fair in Paris might be your best bet to see the most outfitters for what you are looking for. SCI has a handful from several countries as well, but will have many more African outfitters.
Each country has their own traditions but also history. That also makes each country unique and...
There are pretty significant differences between WFA and WFR. Scope is broader. Depth of understanding and assessment is greater. If you're more than an hour from definitive care, in the woods for days at a time, or need a professional level certification, then WFR is where you start. If you...
I travel with mine. I'm 200 days afield so definitely need it. I can shut it down and go "off grid" as I need. I have had it since Elon made me wait for the launch. Guy with me last year watched his first grandchild being born from middle of nowhere Montana. Worth it for him. I like being...
