There is a large mesh stuff pocket similar to the Divide, Peregrine. The zippered pockets are sewn on the front of the mesh pocket. The zippered pockets are fully enclosed and will be water resistant, but not water proof. You can seam seal them and up the water resistance.
If you're trying to make weight on a bush flight and it's bug season I'd go the bug bivy route. If you're not worried about weight as much then the 6 with two nests will work.
OD/Tan was discontinued by the expo. Over the years we've sold packs in stone gray, green, black, teal, I think we did some multicam black and alpine camo at one time...Multicam, coyote brown, spectra, wolf, and charcoal.
They all work. The charcoal is a good color on a really fantastic...
When we started we had a setup very similar to the current unaweep with a base talon. We added the Divide that has a sewn on face pocket instead of the base talon.
Our packs are still mostly variations of those two. Either a sewn on face pocket (Gila, Divide, Kenai, Peregrine, Lanner) or the...
Why do you need two nests and a stove? Stove weather usually means mosquitoes and ticks are done. Desert country, worried about scorpions?
It would fit, but would be clunky. My first choice would be to put everybody in their own bug bivy. I've got a couple that aren't terribly expensive and...
Here are the keys to a good pitch:
1. Get the right distance between the two doors. (Most important)
2. Get the right distance on the main seam stake loops (Less important)
3. Get the right distance on the mid-panel loops (Least important)
If you really think about it, the zipper stake...
Packbag fabric makes up a low percentage of weight in our packs. The difference in a 6300 and 4800 may only be a few ounces. So over time I've gravitated to the 6300 for backpack hunts. It's easier to shove everything into a bigger pack without worrying about careful packing or compressing...
Unfortunately not in AK...
You can stop by the shop, call first to make sure someone will be there with the pack you're interested in. We do have a 30 day return policy. If you have specific questions, feel free to PM me, and we do have a good fitting video, as well as a packing heavy loads...
Knowledge is the difference in freezing your tail off and sleeping comfy. Do your homework, and preferably, do some field testing before using for the first time hundreds of miles from home in temperatures colder than you've attempted before. The risk there is large.
That said, I've slept in...
I'm going to troubleshoot the simple first...make sure the pipe is outside the damper. Roll the bottom pipe ring up a ways to give some slack, set the pipe around the outside of the damper, and then push the bottom pipe ring back down, which sets it on there with tension.
Customs should be back up next Thursday. We'll send out an emailer. Brooks pocket style has been discontinued in favor of the new side pocket which we think will be a better add on for most users.
Remember that the lumbar pad takes up some room too. Probably 75% of users like/need the lumbar. The pack fits me better without it.
This may help some people, especially if they're new to our stuff.
Super easy to add yourself if you think you need them. Wouldn't void our warranty...we just wouldn't cover fixing your grommets.
FWIW grommets let water in when you set the pack down.
