    I've seen that exact scenario, so I raised my Remington 870 Express, pulled the trigger and silence.... The freezing rain in AK in October had froze my trigger and action solid! Mr. mallard quietly flew away and chose a different place to land. :(

    I have some reflectex insulation in the garage, might have to try to make my own bag. Maybe try the ziplock bags to save some weight too as every ounce counts.

    Thanks for the response. I generally don't stay at 160 except for a couple elevation changes on my various routes but I probably stay in zone 2. When I had my Apple watch, I usually stayed at 140-150 for my ruck workouts. I'm learning a lot from you all. Thanks for the advice.

    I train here in upper 90s - low 100s with a Smart wool silk liner sock with black Ovis mid calf hiking socks over them. I have had no blisters or hot spots with this combo and they don't stink.
