If you pop up over a small ridge/hill could see em walking. And short standing shot might be required.

I tow sometimes and you want to monitor EGT (exhaust temp) so you don’t burn [emoji91] everything up. So get an analog or digital reader for that.

Used and have Harris and will keep. Good for certain hunting situations.
But got Spartan which makes it nice to pull it off in a snap to go slick. Then slap on the Spartan in a few seconds when I need it.

Train the way you intend to hunt
Doesn’t necessarily help to shoot one way (ie bench, clear shooting lanes, comfortable, etc) and then expect to shoot in brush/weeds/high grass or uphill/downhill.
Time yourself from pulling rifle off shoulder/off pack to shooting position with all gadgets...
I’m a big SG fan - but the lack of padding in the top enclosure resulted in my eye cups getting banged up pretty good when I packed out with the setup in my pack. And the harness always made my neck hurt.
