Thank you so much! Do you think there's a decent likelihood of going after some bears? Also, would I have the chance to see some caribou? Is end of May a decent time? What about fishing that time of year?
I have the opportunity to go stay with a family member and Hunt black bears on the Kenai Peninsula. I would spot and stalk. My family member that's out there has not hunted a whole bunch he just loves to fish. I would be there at the end of May, first st of June. I don't even know where to...
I have not done anything besides put them on the high line. I do like the radio idea, I may give it a try. I have been in areas with thick black bear densities and thick Mountain light densities. I have not had them in grizzly country.
With the eyepiece on your spotter does it change the glassing experience when you are using your spotter without your phone? So just using it in it's traditional sense does the eyepiece bother you?
Also, it seems like that eyepiece cover could snap off pretty easily. Has anyone had problems...
Well I have three goats and they have been pretty good to me. I do get annoyed with how clingy they are, but because of that they naturally follow. And while this may be frowned upon I do leave them in camp most of the time. They have been fine in camp.
I quit about 6 years ago. I have noticed I am in pretty good shape. However, what I have noticed even more is that the guys I hunt with that haven't quit drinking are in worse shape, but the saddest thing is they have all lost motivation. It is sad to see really. Their sense of adventure is...
If hunters would educate themselves and be aware of all the issues I think we could unite. I use to be all about tag cuts for better quality deer, but I realize that means less people hunting every year. Which in turn can lead to hunters having a smaller voice. People can change, we could...
I agree, I don't care how bad the hunting gets never would I be willing to wait two to three years between hunting. It's much more than just the kill, plus if you're out there you have a shot.
For me it's got to be public land DIY. Soon as I hear it's on private I change the channel. I do not enjoy when they film theirsleves talking for large portions of the show. Showing family and things other than the kill shot is always nice
Oh sweet I will listen to it. Good point about the tags. I haven't dropped my standards but they are not extremely hi, although much higher than they use to be. Most the time if I think it has a chance to break 170, I will shoot here on a general unit in Utah. Depending on the state and the tag...
I just got this bipod and it says you can unscrew the claw feet. I cranked on it pretty hard and they are not coming off. Does anyone have one of these bipods where they have removed the feet? I'm pretty sure it's the Gen 2 here's a picture of it.
