I picked up another model seven and I had to buy this as part of the deal. I plan to use the factory wood stock so this one is up for sale.
I’d rather outright sell it and recoup some of my money but if somebody has a nice fixed Leupold I may be interested.

I do wish someone would come out with a better option than the arctic shields but that’s what I used right now, just make sure to size them up.
I agree, I don’t think it’s going anywhere but I do think it will remain a niche cartridge. Its advantage doesn’t really come into play at normal hunting ranges, it’s awesome if you want to ring steel at long range. The availability of 300 win in rifles and ammo is pretty substantial vs the prc.
Unless you just want to replace it I’d have a competent gunsmith check it out. A good one can make those walker triggers as good as anything on the market.
The ex-marks that were on the new ones were junk, that’s an automatic replacement for me
