Do you have any pics of your setup? And do you have a total weight on everything after cutting off the handle and adding the neoprene sleeve?
Hows well does it work in the wind?
Had some time to set it up in the yard today and play around with it a little next to my cimarron light. Here are my thoughts and some questions.. Hopefully @RyanSeek43 can address some of my concerns/mistakes/questions..
Noticed right away that its a little more difficult to set up than the...
I see that sometimes too.. I'll be bidding on something on ebay and there are identical items (new) listed on there with a "buy it now" for $X, and the auction item will end up going for more than $X..
Only got to play around with it for a few minutes in my basement, set up with just dumbbells holding the corners somewhat taught.. Initial impression is that this thing is a palace! I can't wait to get it set up in my yard side by side with my cimarron light to compare them side by side. I'll...
Mine will be here Monday. Weather doesn't look great until later in the week, but I plan on setting it up in the yard next to my cimarron and doing some comparing.
You probably didn't compare them directly while you were out shed hunting, but I'd be curious to know if there is much of a difference between the PR deluxe and your modified BRS in breezy conditions... Mostly curious about boil times, not so much if there is 1 or 2 grams of fuel difference...
Update: Thank you to everyone for the help and suggestions...There are two winners in this thread..
There was indeed a small split in the lower spray arm. New one is ordered..
I had to do something to test if the split was for sure the problem, so out came the duct tape (nevermind the...
I don't think that's my issue since I just had the whole lower pump/assembly apart last week, but I'm curious - that caused yours to leak out the bottom of the door??
The short answer is because this thing is a POS.. Frigidaire Gallery, less than 3 years old and I've already replaced the lower orbital sprayer twice, the thermostat, and the circuit board. Now its leaking out of the bottom of the door. I had it taken apart the other day (upper spray arm wasn't...
I will second this. Shared camp with the owner once and loved the way his call sounded. I asked him where he got it and he told me he makes them, so I bought his off of him. Been my go-to call for the last several years.
Gear all stays in the basement, either in totes or hung up. Guns in the basement, usually my bow hangs on the wall in the garage so its easy to grab if I wanna shoot a few arrows in the evening.
During hunting season, I keep a tote in the garage with the gear I'm currently wearing, and will...
Been through several tripods and have been using a Sirui T-024 with VA5 for the last couple years and its a pretty great tripod. Weighs 44.7oz on my scale, is very stable when sitting (which is 95% of my glassing), decently stable while standing, and I can glass standing up with binos if I bend...
I emailed Magview about the same problem and they informed me that they are releasing smaller sized models...they said they should be available early summer.
Can't remember exactly what I did (I know I didn't use bleach), but it was either a combination of baking soda and lemon, or baking soda and vinegar.. several websites say both of them work well.
I only have 4 nights in a hot tent, so pretty limited experience, but it was cold enough when we were camping that the condensation froze to the inside of the tent. We ran the stove all evening while hanging out in the tent, eating supper, etc and condensation was never an issue while the stove...
