Sig Cross question
Get the longer barreled Born and Raised if you are blst sensitive. I think it is a 24 inch barrel Creedmoor. I love mine. It has a 308 barrel right now but will be switching to 6.5 after deer season for NRL Hunter next year.- bruceleroy

Help with shots from kneeling position
A lot of folks get too narrow. it is perfectly fine to get wide if the other aspects of your position are stable. Getting narrow will make you feel top heavy and you will move to compensate.- bruceleroy

Why so many Sig Crosses for sale?
People expect to have something ready to go and Sig messed that up. Par for the course apparently. I think they call that getting Sig'd. Socks- why the merino?
I started using a lightweight merino synthetic mix and it was great. I wore a pair for 6 days as a test. Dried them every night. When I got home my wife did the sniff test and I passed. Pretty sure the synthetic content was polyester at 30%.- bruceleroy

Total 6 day MZ elk gear weight: 66.4lbs - is that crazy?
I am more of a minimalist. I just did a 5 day scouting trip with enough food for 6. Carried 3 liters of water (no shortage of streams). Stayed at 30lbs with the only comfort item being a 1lb chair from REI. There is no way in hell I would walk around with that much weight on purpose.- bruceleroy
