I tried fitting it onto a McMillan (tikka Inlet off my T1X) and it almost fit, the base of the barrel was too wide and one of the action screws was off by like .5 of an inch and the trigger location was off.

I totally get the concept, one of the reasons I bought it. But I figured some stock mfg would eventually take a crack at it or that it had the same footprint as a Tikka.
I like to tinker with my guns and I complexly tear them down to lube and make sure everything is torqued up to mfg specs...
solid rifle, very accurate picked up a Cabela's display model in .243 win and it was basically new. i think changing out barrels is a beretta/sako thing and lack of aftermarket stocks are the only drawbacks.
