I like my traeger..but it was free (buddy got a bigger traeger and gave me his old one)
I also see it's limitations.. but again, it was free, so i like it. I also have a nice gas weber that I use to grill.
I take a climbing stand.
During the evening I climb down (obviously) and just stash it at the base of a tree or in a nearby location, throw some branches over it, and really...it's pretty hidden unless you're looking for it. add a cable lock and lock it to a tree if you really want.
bring two sandwiches for sure. at least i always do..being out in the woods hiking at 5 am or earlier i seem to want my first sandwich by about 8-9 am...then im hungry again around lunch time.
standard issue...
two sandwiches, a few single serving costco trail mixes, jerky, fun size candy bars...
my dad can beat up your dad...
this whole deal is ridiculous. in my opinion, this show's the NRA's lack of responsible leadership.
my thing is i would like to see the list of organizations/companies this affected because it wasnt targeted at the NRA, which is what the NRA is trying to make it...
i just helped install a lift on a buddy's 2011 4 cyl. tacoma with 260k miles on it..runs and drives great..and he is NOT one of those guys whos doing preventative maintenance.
go drive a few different things and feel out what fits you.
you can read all of our opinions until the cows come home...
two main things at play here.
1 as has been said, automated shipping calculators...they arent always perfect. I ran an online vendor site selling automotive parts with a huge inventory, it was hard to apply the correct shipping to everything, let alone combos..example, someone orders an exhaust...
this is great advice.
if i towed anything of any substance (biggest thing I tow is my 18 foot north river aluminum boat), and didn't have to deal with parking in downtown seattle for work at times, i would probably get a truck bigger than a tacoma...but if you don't tow, do you really need a big...
love my tacoma.
as for mods it's pretty basic because its also my daily driver.
small 1.5 inch lift, 32" tires, soft topper canopy has been awesome and very versatile, and my remote mount warn winch (can run in the front or back) has been a LIFE saver when out there alone..you can't always winch...
i did 5 weeks through south america, including backpacking machu picchu with just my backpacking backpack as a carry on in january which included the crazy rainy season in peru to 90 degrees in argentina.
a few things to keep in mind that i feel like a lot of people forget when traveling..

i'd gladly take it :D
i was actually going to post..what's everyone going to do with their dividend if they're boycotting REI.
i'll still be spending mine.
Green rocks lodge fits your description if you want to stay around petersburg.
DIY Lodge that provides boats and fishing gear for fishing, cabins to stay in, and food. Cabins aren't 5 star fancy, but they keep you dry and warm.
We went up there last summer and did a halibut trip but I talked...
I hunted rifle in Idaho last year and had 8-10 inches of snow one day, and none a few days later.
Weather wise, it is going to be hard to predict until you come up with an area you want to hunt.
First elk hunt and first backpacking experience? I wouldn't cross truck camping off of your list...
I pay my bills every month. I don’t carry a balance and enjoy the rei gift cards I get every March for a dividend and the miles I get on my Alaska card have bought me tickets to Japan, South America, Europe, and places in the us. I agree. If you can’t pay it off. Pass. But if you treat it like...
REI credit card gets you an additional 5% back on your dividend on full price items ( so you get 15% as opposed to 10%) and 5% on sale items as opposed to 0%.
$0 annual fee if you're a member already, and usually have deals set up where when you sign up you get a 100 dollar gift card after...
I had a minox but sold it..wasn't overly impressed over decent binos on a tripod to be honest.
if you're going for a compact spotter, id spend a little more and get something just a bit nicer. it will be nice to have at the range and for other activities, once you have it, youll use it more.

EDIT: I will probably just get the phone scope..was looking at them again.. 77 bucks isnt bad, for some reason in my mind it was like 127 for everything.
