.223 for bear, mountain goat, deer, elk, and moose.

That’s not a bad idea, but it’s the springs in the Tikka 223 mags that are the big problem at the moment. That mag gives you the extra length, but leaves you with the spring that fails after a couple hundred rounds. Hopefully Tikka will get their spring supplier issue resolved soon.

    Metatarsalgia from last hunt

I feel your pain, man. I’ve been struggling with a severe foot injury for over a year now and am just starting to see glimpses of the light at the end of the tunnel. First, metatarsalgia seems to be a garbage can diagnosis for a whole lot of different things that could be wrong. I’d suggest...

    RokStok

Thank you for the reply on this. My 223 Tikka tells me it really wants one of these RokStok Lites. And I think it’s awesome that you are getting on here regularly to answer questions from people who even RokSlide refers to as a “pain in the ass” … The scale of that is just mind boggling, isn’t...

    RokStok

@UM GM Can UM share any details on the design of the RokStok Lite that is coming in 2025? Comb height above bore? Forearm and toe profile? Will it have the scallop for a rail? Approximate weight? Thanks!

New Rifle Build- Bullet and Caliber- Mono metal- Thoughts?

I’m curious about how many animals you’ve seen taken with the 6cm/243 and 95 gr DRT combo and how those wound channels compare to your ideal shape and depth. Anything you can share about your observations?

What does it take to kill a grizzly?

He’s kind of on the schoolyard level with that comment, which is ironic from someone who openly mocks education. I guess we have a pretty good idea what he did when he was in school.

What does it take to kill a grizzly?

I believe you are projecting your own shortcomings onto others. Please provide a direct quote from my messages to and about you where I have advised anyone about anything other than the fact that you do not know what you are talking about.

I thought he started this out by complaining about keyboard warriors and promptly proved himself to be one.

What does it take to kill a grizzly?

Folks, it’s just a bad idea to feed the trolls. There is no sense in trying to convince a useless feminine hygiene product of anything using logic. MtnW does not comprehend logic or data. He is just here to stir shit. Just ignore him and his beliefs.

    Tikka 223 magazine feeding issues

I had better luck with the 4-round mags, but had three 6-rounders start failing at 200ish rounds. The waters are pricey, but they feed nice. I just put mine together and tested them out. One thing I noticed, I’ve never been able to single-feed this gun without fishing the cartridge int to the...

What does it take to kill a grizzly?

What you believe about either me (of which you have absolutely no knowledge of other than your assumption based on my screen name on a website) or about ballistics has no bearing on anything. Believing something to be objectively correct is an oxymoron. You will keep talking about what you...
