If the Fusions shoot tiny groups from your rifle, you're good to go.
If you want to try something different, as others have stated here, I would also recommend
Hornady American Whitetail with 150 Interlocks
Federal blue blue box or Non Typical 150
Remington Core Lokt 150
Barnes 130 TTSX
I have one of these, as well, and really like it. Since it cuts based on distance to shoulder datum, best accuracy/consistency is dependent on consistency of head to shoulder datum measurement. If that measurement is variable, than so too will be the case length measurement.
Would anyone be able to recommend an outfitter near Wheatland, Wy. The outfitter I've been using since 2019 has slipped a few notches since I first started hunting with him and I think it's time to look for a better situation. If you have any personal experiences or suggestions, please feel free...
Excellent pack, built like a tank at a good price.
As I always state on these threads, find the frame that fits your body best, then pick the bag of your choice.
My 10-10 has been flawless since I purchased it in the '70s.
I bought a 5-0-5 as a back up and to keep the 10-10 honest. The 5-0-5 was inconsistent. I found that the edge of the damper spring (underneath) was contacting the the body casting. I loosened the screw that secures it, and adjusted so...
I would never presume to give anyone advice on what to do with their points.
As for myself, I have 4 points going into next year. Given the recent back to back to back severe winters, relentless drought and disease decimating the herds, I'll likely continue to build points for few more years...
Commercialism
It's gotten as bad, or worse, than fishing. Celebrity hunters shamelessly hawking every new worthless gadget under the sun, during their thinly veiled infomercials.
Also, some very valid points in previous posts.
I still have my original Woolrich buffalo plaid pants from the '70s. They're so warm that I can only wear them on the coldest of days.
Johnson Mills green or gray plaid woolies were a good alternative. I believe they're still made.
Not high tech, or latest and greatest, ......just warm and quiet.

While that seems logical and sound, I have experienced no degradation in image quality or light gathering capabilities when using a good lens.
I think the key lies in using a high quality lens (e.g., Breakthrough Photography, or similar), vs a $20 piece of garbage. $150 - $200 is...
Even with the most favorable of conditions, (i.e. less severe winters, less severe drought, less severe disease and the issuance of zero doe tags, for a sustained period), its going to take years for these numbers to bounce back.
Unfortunately, WGFD only has control over one of those variables...
If you're strictly hunting eastern deer in heavy cover, a 1.5-5x20 Leupold, or something similar would be a great choice. If you anticipate situations where longer shots might be a possibility, you could instead look at a 2.5-8x36 or 3-9X40. That would work fine for shots to 300/400 yds very...
Another vote for the MR Pop Ups. I've had the original PU28 for 5 years and no complaints. It's the perfect size daypack for early season. When temps drop into the teens and single digits, and I need extra room for more layers and gear, I'll ditch it for a Sawtooth 45.
You could buy a Pintler...
250 Savage and 257 Robts have been getting the job done for me, more than 45 years now. If I can keep going another 20 yrs or so, I suspect they can too. I have no need for the latest hotrods.
