Best 270 Win bullet for Elk
I have loaded the accubond, accubond LR and partition in 150gr for my .270 model 70. It liked the accubond LR the best. But once I found the right powder all 3 shot well. I landed on the accubond 150s. -
Broadheads for Bear Hunting
Just bought some of the 150 wides to try out with bears in mind. If it flies well, I will keep 1 in my quiver for closer shots on elk and deer too. I am hoping for blood trails like mechanicals with the reliability and penetration of a fixed. -

Paper tune bad, bareshafts shoot great
For me, tuning through paper is only a starting point. After I paper tune I shoot bareshafts and fletched until they hit together. Then shoot field points and broad heads until they hit together. Also, some bows need to be nock high to get field points to hit with broad heads. If it was me... -
Will QAD Exodus go through an Elk’s Shoulder Blade?
