    If no need to pack out meat I would go frameless. I love my Xcurve but carrying my Superday is noticeably more comfortable.

    I have hunted in the middle of them. Less than 2 miles from the fire line. Helicopters dipping into the river within 100yds of camp and we were 5 miles deep. This was in the 90s. Today they would have shut down any access.

    I drink a pack of Liquid IV daily. Put a pack in a 30oz bottle of water and refill it when it is half full with just water all day. Adds flavor and I feel better than just drinking water. If I am hiking (or drinking beer) I will drink a pack before bed too. I feel much better in the morning...

    All of my Sitka is large except my core heavy weight I wear a medium. I ordered a large but was too big, went to a Medium and that fits great. 5’8” 165lbs.

    Disagreeing. I think 2 arrows of the same weight with different FOC will hit the same POI.

    FOC is not turning the nose up or down. It is adding or removing weight to the front. First an airplane is counteracting gravity so not a great comparison. The difference in your example would be 2 airplanes of the same weight flying parallel to the ground, but one has more weight in the nose.

    FOC is not the same as throwing a frisbee with the front down. The correct comparison is shooting an arrow pointed at the ground and not parallel will act the same as a frisbee pointed at the ground and not parallel.

    Gravity is constant. It does not pull heavier items down faster than lighter items. You don’t need a high speed camera to test it. Shoot 2 arrow of the same weight but different FOC. Is the POI on the higher FOC lower?

    Shoot bareshafts and fletched starting at 20yds and see if the hit the same spot. If they are close to each other you can likely get it in tune with small movements on your rest.
