Try backing out the front action screw a few twists and see if it still happens.

    6.5 Creedmoor on Elk?

The 130s to low 140s are most popular, but there are 144, 147, 153/153.5, and even 156gr that come factory loaded.

    Best Silencer for a 6XC

I have a Hyperion K on order. For those who use them (@TexasHTR @Ryan Avery @Formidilosus), what mounting options did you go with, and/or what do you recommend on a light hunting barrel? I have a T3X lite in 6.5cm (currently 24" unthreaded barrel). I may or may not need to rebarrel by the...

6.5 Creedmoor/260 for Deer, Elk, and whatever else.....

Speaking of 140 ELDMs, here's one caught in the offside hide of a Sitka Blacktail from a few weeks ago. Last three animals (another Blacktail and a mountain goat) were all similar-- just a bit of encased lead remaining in the offside hide, no exit. None dropped right there, but all were down in...

    Water in boots.....make it stop!

I edited my post to add a note about cinching the gaiter straps good. It’s important to get a good seal there. Pant cuff/hems need to stay above the top of the boot by rolling, or tucking into the tongue or sock.

    Water in boots.....make it stop!

Rain pants over gaiters. Are you making sure the bottom of the gaiters are tight around the boot by cinching the bottom strap as tight as it can get? Are the cuffs of your pant legs staying above the top of your boots? And are the pant legs wet, too?

    Which Anker charger to get

I like the LuminAid Titan 4,000 mAh. It’s a little heavier at 12oz, but it’s a nice lantern in addition to being a charger, and with a built-in solar charger. I keep it outside in the daytime (clipped to a tent or backpack) so it’s recharging itself in the field.

Curious to hear more about your experience with 12x for short range use. What were some of the closer distances you were using to help spot/watch turkeys?

Then a Marmot Helium is right in the ballpark (~$400 USD when on sale, though I suppose that is about $500 CAD). But I’d also have a good look at the REI Magma 15 or the Marmot Hydrogen.

Since you are in Canada, are you meaning Celsius? If so, there are some decent options. Fahrenheit, not much with those options at that price.

Need a new pack please help me kuiu or exo

I'll follow up on my KUIU warranty experience, since there have been a few comments on it and their CS. If you have an issue with a KUIU item, the process is to go to their website and submit a warranty form (linked on their warranty policy page at https://www.kuiu.com/pages/warranty). It's...

Need a new pack please help me kuiu or exo

Have you seen this: https://www.rokslide.com/forums/threads/exo-vs-kuiu-pack.208346/? It's the exact two packs you're asking about. On my end, I have the KUIU and don't see a need for a change at this time, just checking if you've seen the other threads. And don't miss Zach Herold's backpack...

Based on the above alone, for you yes it will be worth it.
