Shot a mule deer last year with a trypan. Less impressive specs than yours and still found the arrow darn near 30 feet past where it went through the buck.
I’ve only shot one bull with them. This was a frontal shot at about 20 yds from a .308. It hit just perfect to deflect on his shoulder and ride down the side of his ribs under his hide. He ran about 80 yds and bedded. When I got to him I put 2 more broadside which were both pass throughs.
How long does it take some of you guys to load/unload meat? Takes me maybe a couple minutes to have a rear quarter in the pack/strapped and moving. In the alder hellholes I seem to inevitably kill elk in I prefer to at least have a half way point to drop meat. To each their own though.

He proceeds to start muttering under his breath about this answer, so I ask him to...
So far where I’m at has gotten pretty lucky. Unfortunately only one lightning storm/idiot leaving a fire unattended away from disaster.
Also, the Watch Duty app is great for keeping an eye on fires.

Actually just bought this from another member a couple weeks ago. I had thought about switching back to an index release, but decided to stick with a thumb button. Still near perfect condition. Has both sears.
$85 tyd
I ditch em. I don’t have the time/energy/money to have 20 different rifles and calibers. I have 3 or 4 good shooters and if I want something new, will sell to upgrade. I’ve got a buddy who always talks about wanting a badass custom gun but says he can’t afford it. Also has probably 15 rifles he...
