So you’re under the assumption that the company just can’t afford to pay these crybabies that aren’t worth it any more money that what they already are?
The company was not hurt in both my personal examples, they just had to cut out a bigger piece of pie for their employees.
Why would you not...
I totally understand being upset with their blind allegiance to the Democratic Party. There were big articles in the IBEW news letter about how they were in favor of vaccine mandates. That created an uproar with a lot of members and if I remember right there was talk of all members who were...
I don’t understand you non-union guys reasoning. So you’re ok with people leaving the company to find better working conditions, but you’re not ok with the workers staying with the company, speaking in a collective voice, and negotiating with the company?
I left a non union electric...
I wonder how many people that talk bad about the union have ever been a member of one? I’ve been on both sides and being a non union lineman for 5yrs and an IBEW union lineman for the last 15yrs has led me to a quality of life I would have never known before the switch.

Oh you’re right, I know very little about how computer systems run. But the few desktop computers I’ve seen (the ones the peckers use) all have their own fan built in to them. To keep them from overheating I assume? Do they still have their own fan or are the new computers totally reliant on...
Then there’s no good reason any of the UPS offices should have air conditioning. No reason for anybody that’s only pecking a keyboard to have air conditioning. Imagine the savings on the electric bill with no AC. No maintenance bill either. Great point you make there.
I hope they walk on em. I’ve never been part of a strike but I’ve been among a group of guys that left a company to go to another with better pay and working conditions. Each time the company we left that said they couldn’t afford to give us a raise mysteriously found the money to pay the guys...
I bought a pair with 400g of insulation for August/September in Alaska. Last year I wore them Oct-Jan deer hunting in Oklahoma and loved them. Definitely not too much boot for flat ground. Awesome boot in my opinion.
I’ve wondered about this when I sleep in my camper shell in the back of my truck that’s sealed up fairly well but never had any trouble falling asleep. I do sleep with a cpap that’s forcing air, but it’s not creating any more of it.
