I would like to chime in as a mainlander "haole" who took the time to read and understand the regs and PM those I knew who had the information to see what they were willing to share it with me.

Who doesn’t wear Merino?? That would be a road hunter - lol.
Some body’s are built different- synthetic on me (pick any brand) last about 1/2 a day of actual hunting.
Merino can last multiple days in the backcountry for me.
First lite, kuiu, and Smartwool (rei has them in sale...
For me personally a pack with heavy weight feels better when the meat shelf can actually hold the meat up from the bottom of the frame. Kifaru “meet shelf” bags basically sandwich the meat at the bottom just like EXO packs do. Although this method works- to me the packs feel way better when the...
The height adjustability of that meat shelf is what makes it perfect!! - however if they made that bag a touch bigger and side pockets for spotter and tripod would be the bees neez. I snag my tripod on too much stuff in the side pocket and the spotter ends up taking up a lot of the room inside...

Thanks for the feedback. I may have to pick one up to try- just wish I could get an accurate read on what the dang things weigh- lol.
If you have the 5 arrow quiver- does it hold the arrows and broadheads well? No issue with vane contact when they are locked in place?
For blisters I moved to hyrdo seal blister heal bandaids. Lasts forever, waterproof and I never have to worry about what you experienced.
I still keep Leuko tape in a pad form uncut and unpeeled.
Awesome!
How far is your hood from where it attaches to the riser? The Hoyt dealer felt like because mine was stretched out that contributed to some of the vibration.
